Among the thousands who attended were a few puppies enjoying the show, while at the entrance to the show sits a large lemon stand selling some refreshing lemonade. It was just about to rain so she didn't have any customers. The show had many hundreds of big rigs lined up in rows for the show and shines. There was also an amusement park, children's entertainment, quite a few bands, displays and booths handing out free items and looking for drivers and of course the tractor pulling and beer tents.
Sleeman was the official beer of the show and they had quite a few trucks on hand - including the classic, above. Speaking of classics I saw the Michelin Man hanging around the show.
A lady was providing free face painting for the kids.
The pulling included garden tractors, modified, pickups and big rigs. See the Empire State 9300 Super Farm tractor All or Nothin' making a pull on Youtube. Only part of the large crowd as they look down on the pulling field.
I had to leave early Saturday night so I couldn't stay and watch a lot of the pulling series - including my favourite, the big rigs. |
