Lake Huron adventure
The waters of
Lake Huron have no ice left from what we can see. Ann dipped her toes in
the water and she said it was so cold her foot was starting to cramp up.
This place must be booming in the summer when the water would be perfect
to swim in and the sandy beach is ready for tanners.
The beach at Kincardine,
Ontario has a long boardwalk and these sets of oversized blue chairs just
made for watching the waves crash onto the shore.
The old posts
used for a dock or pier remain in the water alongside the existing harbour
entrance at Kincardine.
Ann got some nice
shots of the deers that roam free in the Bruce Nuclear property. It helps
when the area is patrolled by armed officers and they aren't hunting for
meat.
We drive south
along the edges of Lake Huron visiting various beaches along the way. The
heavy rains have caused this stream to swell and take some fine beach sand
into the lake.
All the towns
seem to have brand new playground equipment and this beauty is a 4 seat
teeter totter that was a lot of fun to try out. |
