Bruce Trail at
Milton Quarry
|
The weekend continues
with some more fanatastic weather. It is 25 degrees Celcius out while normal
temperatures are supposed to be around 13. Spring is in overdrive so we
force Erin to accompany us as we explore some of the Bruce
Trail, which winds along the Niagara
Escarpment, just north of Milton.
Some of the trees
are starting to bud and the spring flowers provide some nice colour.
We gain access
to the Bruce Trail off the north end of Dublin Line - north of Campbellville
Road. This side trail climbs quickly until we meet the Bruce Trail. Turning
left or west we hike until we come to the Milton Quarry and the Dufferin
Quarry Bridge (built in 1991).
Erin and Ann are
right beside the 100m drop while the camera is looking southeast towards
Canada's fastest growing urban area - Milton.
