The trees form
an arch along the path. We continue along the back of Crescent Street (to
the left) while the Black Creek gets closer to the pathway on the right.

A storm water
pond (behind) is fed from the Crescent Street and Fairview Avenue subdivision
which then empties into Black Creek. We are on the path looking down towards
the valley created by Black Creek.

Ducks and geese
take advantage of the open water along the Black Creek. The creek opens
up here due to the beaver dam just downstream.

The trail narrows
as we pass by the back of Crescent Street and we run along the edge of
the valley beside the creek.

Looking down on
the beaver dam which has diverted Black Creek to the top of the picture.
Overflow has created several streams flowing to the left. Ducks and Canadian
Geese gather in the beaver pond.
