Toronto Zombie Walk
The Toronto Zombie Walk started in 2003 and since then has grown in size with hundreds of Zombies taking part in the parade through downtown streets. Undead Elvis (or he could be the alive Elvis in disguise) prowls the street with mayhem and music on his mind. The massive crowd of the unliving gather at Trinity Bellwoods Park eager to start the slow stumble along Queen St, Bathurst St and finally Bloor Street. You can see some of my videos on YouTube of the march here, and here.
Luckily there was a zombie nurse to care for all the undead injuries. Zombie teenagers take time away from zombie school to drop by for a quick meal of the living survivors unlucky to be within range of their cold fingers.
Some good ol' zombies enjoy some snacks and a beverage. This was a great event to watch, take pictures of and participate in - think of joining up next year! |
